Surgesound has recently completed a sound system installation for City Hope Church in Fourways, Johannesburg. The project involved providing a high-quality and reliable sound system that would enhance the worship experience and meet the needs of the growing church.
City Hope Church is a vibrant and dynamic church that was planted in 2017 by Simon and Tarryn Hodgson. The church has various types of gatherings, including Sunday services, women’s events, and next-gen specific gatherings. The church also has many city groups that meet all around Joburg every week, as well as initiatives that equip people in all aspects of life. The church is currently building a home for Joburg North, called City Green, which will be a hub of excellence and a platform for planting new churches and ministries.
The sound system installation was done by Surgesound, a company that has been a proud partner and sole distributor for EAW for many years. We design and supply sound systems to an array of applications, from live concerts to permanent installations. Surgesound has a skilled team that can help clients find the best sound system for their requirement, provide support and training to aid their end goal.
The sound system that Surgesound provided for City Hope Church is based on the EAW KF Series, which delivers EAW signature performance in a portable and lightweight wooden enclosure. The sound system also includes SB180 subwoofers, which are single 18-inch, direct radiating subwoofers that extend the low frequency response of the KF Series. The sound system is powered by high quality audio amplifiers and processed with an EAW processor, to ensure the system performs at its best with the custom designed Focussed Greybox settings.
Surgesound is proud to have been part of this project, and to have provided a sound system that meets the needs and expectations of City Hope Church. Surgesound is committed to providing high-quality and professional sound systems and services to its clients, and to supporting the growth and development of the church and the community.
