We are thrilled to share the details of our recent project at New Life Global Church, which celebrated the grand opening of their new House of Worship in Kya Sands, Randburg. This new venue is designed to be a beacon of hope and inspiration for the community, and we at Surgesound were honored to be a part of this transformative journey.
Project Overview
New Life Global Church commissioned Surgesound to design and install a cutting-edge sound system that would meet the diverse needs of their congregation. Our goal was to ensure that every word spoken, and every note played would be heard with crystal clarity, enhancing the worship experience for all attendees.
Main Sound System
For the main sound system, we selected the EAW RS Series Mid-Hi Loudspeakers. These were strategically positioned to provide even coverage throughout the ground floor seating areas, ensuring that every seat in the house receives the same high-quality audio experience. The EAW RSX Series Subwoofers were recessed into the stage, a design choice that maximizes floor space while delivering powerful low-frequency reinforcement essential for full-band worship sessions.
Balcony and Overflow Coverage
To cater to the overflow areas, particularly the balcony, we installed EAW LA Series Loudspeakers. These speakers are known for their ability to deliver clear and consistent sound, ensuring that even those seated further away from the stage can fully engage with the service.
Stage Monitoring
On the stage, we mounted four EAW MKC Loudspeakers to serve as monitors for the singers and the apostle during sermons. The low-profile design of the MKC speakers provides a clean and unobtrusive look on stage, while still delivering more than enough SPL (Sound Pressure Level) for the application. These monitors are powered by Blaze Audio PowerZone Connect DSP Amplifiers, which offer precise control and reliability.
Installation and Execution
Our team at Surgesound worked diligently to ensure that the installation was completed on time for the grand opening.
