RAM Audio DUBHE 10Q

4-Channel 10,000W Installation Amplifier — Analogue Configuration

Overview

The RAM Audio DUBHE 10Q is a 4-channel, 10,000W total output installation amplifier for fixed installations where signal processing is managed externally. It is the analogue counterpart to the DENEB 10Q: same chassis, same power topology, same output capability — without the on-board DSP touchscreen. If your signal chain already includes a dedicated DSP processor, the DUBHE 10Q is the more cost-effective choice and avoids paying for processing you are not going to use.

The DUBHE 10Q is built for system integrators and AV contractors who run external DSP platforms — whether that is a dedicated rack processor, a network-based control system, or a mixing console with integrated DSP outputs. It slots directly into those signal chains without friction, and handles everything the output stage needs to handle: stable class D amplification, PCM™ power management, and a full protection suite that keeps the system running under real installation conditions.

Power and Load Flexibility

The DUBHE 10Q delivers 10,000W total output. Each channel delivers 2,500W when all four are driven simultaneously. RAM Audio’s PCM™ system manages the total power budget dynamically, redistributing capacity to channels that need it. Bridge mode supports 2× 5,000W configurations for subwoofer amplification or high-power two-channel applications.

Low-impedance operation covers 2, 4, and 8 ohm. High-impedance operation covers 35V, 50V, 70V, and 100V distributed audio lines — selected via rear-panel DIP switch configuration. The DUBHE 10Q can handle both low-Z and high-Z applications on the same chassis, which means a single model covers most installation scenarios without requiring different amplifier types.

Rear-Panel Configuration

In the absence of on-board DSP, the DUBHE 10Q is configured via rear-panel DIP switches and hidden output level trimmers. Channel configuration options include bridge mode, a 50Hz subsonic filter (useful for protecting full-range drivers in systems without external crossover on the subwoofer feed), output mode selection for high or low impedance with power limitation, and gain adjustment from 26dB to 40dB in 2dB steps. Input signal can be linked between consecutive channels for mono summing or source sharing. Output level trimmers allow fine-grained channel balancing without DSP.

These configuration options cover the majority of practical installation requirements. The DUBHE 10Q is not a bare-bones amplifier — it has enough rear-panel flexibility to handle real-world installation variations without requiring the full DSP feature set of the DENEB range.

Professional Protection Suite

The DUBHE 10Q carries the same protection suite as the DENEB range: soft-start, turn-on and turn-off transient muting, thermal protection, DC output protection, RF interference protection, short-circuit protection, open or mismatched load detection, and power supply overload protection. ICL™ intelligent clip limiting and PCM™ power management operate in real time. The GPIO option adds hardware-level muting and power control via external contact closure or voltage signals, and per-channel fault/OK monitoring via switching contacts.

DUBHE 10Q – Installation Design and Connectivity

Phoenix connectors throughout. Inverted chassis design with temperature-controlled front-to-rear cooling. 2U rack height, 7 kg weight. Optional Dante™, AES67 (ATMOS and RAVENNA compatible), and GPIO modules are factory-available and can be combined. At 7 idle from 230V AC, the DUBHE 10Q has a low thermal and electrical footprint relative to its output capability.
