Introduction to the ZETTA 4100
The RAM Audio ZETTA 4100 is the flagship of the ZETTA range — a four-channel Class H power amplifier delivering up to 10,000 W from a 2U, 8 kg chassis. It uses the same upside-down mono-block architecture as the rest of the series, with the full amplifier assembly built into a single all-in-one power module. For high-output touring and large installed systems where rack space and weight are at a premium, the 4100 puts serious power behind four channels without a serious footprint.
The Flagship Four-Channel
The ZETTA 4100 delivers 4 x 2500 W into 2 Ω and 4 x 2500 W into 4 Ω, with 4 x 1400 W available into 8 Ω. Bridged, it produces 2 x 5000 W into either 4 Ω or 8 Ω, enough to drive demanding subwoofer arrays from a single unit. It is a low-impedance amplifier built for full-range and low-frequency duty on high-SPL systems.
PMS™-Managed Power Delivery
The 2 Ω, 4 Ω and bridged figures are reached with all channels driven under the control of the Power Management System, which keeps total output within the safe working threshold of the power supply rather than allowing the amplifier to exceed it. PMS™ is what lets a compact, lightweight chassis sustain this much power reliably — the amplifier manages its own headroom in real time rather than running open-loop into trouble.
QuantaPulse™ Switch-Mode Power Supply
The last-generation QuantaPulse™ switching power supply provides refined sensing and control of the power flow, holding the amplifier steady under heavy, dynamic programme material. It is the foundation that makes the 4100’s output-to-weight ratio possible.
Class H Efficiency and Up-Side-Down Cooling
A high-efficiency Class H output stage minimises heat and current draw relative to delivered power. The up-side-down chassis layout keeps the electronics clear of fan-borne dust, and temperature-controlled back-to-front forced-air cooling holds the amplifier in its safe operating range through sustained high-output use.
Comprehensive Protection
The ZETTA 4100 carries RAM Audio’s complete protection set: PMS™ (Power Management System) to regulate delivered power, SSP™ (SOA Sentry Protection) to limit output into an incorrect load or short, and ICL2™ improved intelligent clip limiting. Soft-start, turn-on/off transient muting, thermal, DC, RF, short-circuit and open/mismatched-load protection round out the package.
Connectivity and Controls
Connections use industry-standard Neutrik® XLR inputs and Speakon® outputs, with an input link switch for daisy-chaining the signal across channels and a front-panel selector for dual or bridge operation. Per-channel signal, PMS and clip LEDs and detented, sealed 21-step level controls give precise, repeatable setup.
