EAW AC6

Adaptive technology allows vertical coverage to be perfectly customized to your venue across the entire 20KHz to 65Hz operating range resulting in even and musical coverage through the venue.

A modular design approach provides redundancy and full serviceability from the front of the unit making AC6 the easiest to service column loudspeaker available.

EAW AC6 is designed to disappear visually while being rugged enough for portable use and carry an IP rating of IP54. All wiring is designed to be hidden behind the column and can be passed through to columns above or below it.

Unlike competitors, AC6 does not utilize “beam forming” technology. EAW patented Adaptive technology allows vertical coverage to be precisely customized to your room and audience seating configuration resulting in consistent sound from the front to the back of coverage while keeping sound off reflective surfaces like walls and balcony faces.

Adaptive coverage is controlled through EAW’s award winning Resolution 2 software. When a computer is not available or impractical coverage presets can be recalled through the rear panel LCD screen and encoder or using the contact closures inputs located on the input panel.

EAW AC6’s powder coated aluminum chassis and accessories are available in standard black and white.

28 fly track mounting points provide quick and easy connection with EAW and third-party accessories. All EAW accessories are designed to be visually appealing and easy to install in a variety of configurations.

When used with the optional input and output covers AC6s is rated at IP54 allowing it to be reliably used in unprotected outdoor locations. Steel mesh and foam behind the grill combine to keep water off the transducers and out of the electronics. Conformally coated circuit boards provide an additional layer of protection.

Dante primary and secondary inputs with loop throughs simplifies high quality audio distribution to arrays of AC6 or other Dante enabled products. Two independent analog audio inputs with loop throughs provide input signal flexibility and fail-safe operation. AES/EBU digital audio input provides additional audio flexibility.

All audio, data, and power input connections are internally looped through to the top of the cabinet allowing for clean wiring when arrayed with other AC6.

The entire product can be serviced from the front with no need to remove the column from its mounting.

Up to 10 AC6 can be arrayed to form up to a 32 foot (10 meter) tall column. Optilogic automatically detects each module’s location and angle in the array significantly reducing setup time and opportunity for errors.
