EAW AC6

2-Way Full-Range ADAPTive Column Loudspeaker

The EAW AC6 brings the highly sought-after, elite ADAPTive tool kit into a sleek, low-profile column format. Engineered to provide the legendary three-dimensional wavefront control of EAW’s flagship Anya and Anna touring modules, the AC6 delivers studio-monitor clarity and uncompromising high-output performance. It is specifically designed to master architecturally challenging or highly reflective acoustic spaces where traditional speakers introduce unwanted mud and room splashiness.

Architectural Disappearance Meets All-Weather Durability

Designed with premium integration and production environments top of mind, the AC6 features a powder-coated aluminum chassis that easily blends into any high-end venue. It is available in standard black and white finishes. The visual footprint is meticulously streamlined; all signal, data, and power wiring are designed to be completely hidden behind the pillar enclosure and can pass cleanly through to adjacent stacked columns.

Don’t let its ultra-clean aesthetic fool you—the EAW AC6 is incredibly rugged. Built with a stainless steel grille, steel mesh, and protective foam backing, it keeps water off the delicate transducers. When deployed with optional input/output protective covers, it achieves an IP54 weather rating, making it entirely reliable for unprotected outdoor installations or temporary festival applications.

Extreme Component Density & Pure Power

The internal acoustic architecture of the AC6 is a marvel of high-density engineering. Within its compact pillar frame, it houses an astonishing six 6-inch low-frequency woofers with 1.7-inch voice coils alongside thirty 1-inch dome tweeters. Each of these thirty-six individual drivers is coupled to a proprietary Concentric Summation Array (CSA™) waveguide and backed by its own dedicated Class D amplifier channel and independent DSP chip. This means every single transducer is individually processed and optimized, unleashing an unprecedented peak output of 143 dB with total clarity from 65 Hz all the way up to 20 kHz.

Patented Adaptive Technology vs. Traditional Beam Steering

  • True Adaptive Performance™: Unlike standard competitors that utilize destructive “beam-forming” or digital phase steering, the AC6 incorporates EAW’s patented Adaptive technology. Managed via Resolution™ 2 software, it calculates and perfects ideal three-dimensional coverage for your exact venue geometry, meticulously steering sound to audience seating while keeping energy completely off reflective walls, balcony faces, or ceilings.

  • EAW Focusing™ & DynO™: Advanced algorithmic signal processing works in the time domain to eradicate traditional horn “honk” and harsh transients. DynO™ dynamic optimization tracks the live input spectrum in real time, maximizing sonic fidelity and output headroom at stadium volumes without distortion or driver fatigue.

  • Adaptive Healing & Parallel Redundancy: Built for mission-critical reliability, the AC6 features on-board diagnostics that continuously monitor system health. If a component ever experiences an issue, Adaptive Healing automatically alters the processing of surrounding drivers to compensate for the loss in real time. Its parallel-configured, universal power factor corrected power supplies ensure the unit continues playing flawlessly even during a partial power fault.

  • Optilogic Intelligence & Scalability: Up to 10 AC6 modules can be seamlessly arrayed to form a massive 10-meter (32-foot) column. Integrated infrared transceivers utilize Optilogic technology to automatically detect each module’s precise location and angle within the array, severely cutting down on setup time and programming errors.
