EAW ANNA

3-Way Full-Range ADAPTive Array Module

The EAW ANNA is a flagship achievement in high-output reinforcement, bringing the revolutionary benefits of EAW’s Patented Adaptive Performance™ into a mid-sized, highly versatile enclosure. Engineered for total, three-dimensional control over coverage and directivity, ANNA completely discards traditional mechanical array limitations. It is designed to deliver studio-monitor fidelity at stadium volumes across any environment, effortlessly mastering acoustic spaces with severe reflections or restrictive architectural laws.

Unmatched Setup Simplicity and Array Flexibility

Weighing just 61.4 kg (135 lbs), ANNA packs an extraordinary output-to-weight ratio that makes it incredibly responsive to both high-end permanent installations and rapid touring schedules. Unlike typical line arrays that require complex, time-consuming mechanical inter-enclosure splay angle calculations, the EAW ANNA modules hang completely straight.

The physical deployment footprint is exceptionally compact, and modules connect using a simple, captive sliding mechanism. For expansive venues demanding wider horizontal coverage, ANNA’s native 100° horizontal dispersion can be scaled seamlessly. Individual columns can even be integrated into mixed clusters alongside EAW’s larger-format Anya™ modules within the exact same array, introducing a whole new tier of scalability to your system design.

EAW ANNA

Ultra-Dense Transducer Configuration & Total Control

Beneath its sleek exterior, EAW ANNA houses a complex, mathematically optimized matrix of fourteen independent transducers. Low frequencies are delivered by dual high-power 10-inch woofers with 3-inch voice coils. The mid-frequency band is governed by four 5-inch cone transducers configured in two columns of two. For pristine high-frequency definition, ANNA utilizes eight 1-inch exit compression drivers featuring 35mm voice coils, firing into a proprietary horn assembly that expands across nearly the entire front face of the module.

Every single one of these fourteen drivers is independently powered and managed by an on-board, field-replaceable “Power Plant” comprising fourteen channels of Class D amplification and discrete, premium DSP. This dense component architecture enables ANNA to produce an incredible maximum peak output of 147 dB across a broad 45 Hz to 18 kHz operating range.

Advanced Proprietary Technologies

  • Adaptive Performance™: Controlled over a Dante network via Resolution™ 2 software, ANNA adapts its acoustic wavefront electronically. It allows system designers to precisely shape a custom-tailored, asymmetrical output profile that evenly blankets the entire user-defined audience plane while introducing broadband energy rejection everywhere else.

  • Offset Aperture™ LF Loading: By strategically moving the apparent acoustic centers of the dual 10-inch woofers further apart, EAW extends effective horizontal directivity control deep into the lower frequency octaves without having to widen the enclosure chassis.

  • Concentric Summation Array™ (CSA) & Radial Phase Plugs: The four mid-frequency drivers interface with the main horn through specialized phase plugs and CSA™ apertures. This ensures mid- and high-frequency energy combine perfectly with zero phase cancellations or internal throat reflections.

  • Adaptive Healing & Diagnostic Intelligence: Built-in microphones provide real-time, in-situ diagnostics. The on-board Adaptive Healing technology continuously monitors component health; if a driver ever experiences an issue, the system automatically alters the DSP parameters of surrounding transducers to compensate for the loss instantly.

  • Optilogic Intelligence: Infrared (IR) transceivers positioned on all four sides of the cabinet allow neighboring modules to instantly self-identify their layout within the column, feeding structural data directly into Resolution™ 2 to minimize human programming errors.
